Here's a sport you can enjoy for a lifetime! Hit the lanes and develop your skills while having fun with friends. Who will be the Kingpin by June 13th? Bonwood Bowl has the lanes, shoe rental, and three games for our Monday through Thursday mornings from 10 am to Noon. Mr. Armstrong has the passion to set up League play to really get the feel for your improvement while you compete on a bowling team, too! Instructor: Dan Armstrong

Pack a lunch & water, get your bike ready to roll, and explore! Students will spend each day getting comfortable with city riding as we head out to fun destinations, especially to places like pools and splash pads where we can cool off! Journeys is what happens when you extend Adventures across an entire day. All the fun and exploration get supersized with experiences that simply can't fit inside of a half day. Whether we stay close to home to immerse ourselves in an experience or drive an hour into the mountains to picnic by a cool lake, we'll be on the road to fun with friends. INCOMING 5TH GRADE SOCIAL CLUB / AM (INCOMING SLArts students only)
Get a feel for your new school, make new friends and meet faculty & staff. Many days we will be setting off on outings to experience our “downtown classroom” in the same manner we do throughout the year. Learn about your new school and relax and you participate together in fun activities and events. Welcome! Instructor: Kevin Lee (one of our 5/6th grade Humanities teachers)

Learn about basic engineering principals and implement them with engaging, hands-on 3D printing of student created models. Our youthful engineers will use various programs to explore different elements of design, testing, and execution to hone their decision-making, building their knowledge to end the week with a student-lead creative project. Wool is an amazing shape-shifter! You'll be surprised at how many different things you can make through felting - transforming soft fuzzy wool fiber into a strong durable material that can be sculpted, cut, sewn and transformed into your own creations. Instructor: Carrie de Azevedo-Poulsen

MYSTERY CLUB & ESCAPE ROOMS / AM
Interested in being a detective? In this interactive Mystery Club, student will read and act out and eventually solve mysteries. Work with fingerprinting, Escape Rooms, invisible ink, brain teasers, and much more! This is for a younger group of students so our focus will be on non-murder mysteries. Instructor: Holly Winn

Get out your quads or blades. Learn to skate, brush up on skills, dance moves, crossover, backwards skating, speed skating .... have fun & get fit! We'll plan outdoor and indoor time. Whether cooling off at a pool or a fun splash pad, swinging from a rope swing at the end of a trail, playing at a park, or as is frequently the case, choosing their own adventure -- we are up for unique experiences every time as intrepid explorers this summer! We travel in small groups, like to be outside and active, and leave the world better than we found it wherever we go. COOL CAR & FAST CREATIONS IN LEGO / PM
Are you interested in LEGO™ bricks, engineering, or just playing around trying to design the perfect car or plane? Come explore design and engineering by building cool cars, arms, and more using gears, motors and axles. Learn about air-pressurized mechanics and other robotic movement while you play and experiment with thousand of bricks and LEGO™ Mindstorm motors and gears. This is going to be a blast! Dig deeper into this timeless game of strategy! Chess Club will be geared toward students who already know how to play chess and would like to improve their game. Students should already know the relative value of pieces and how each piece moves and captures. They should already have at least a basic understanding of opening principles and be able to distinguish check, checkmate, and stalemate. Whether or not you want to prepare for tournament competition, you will improve your understanding of opening principles, middle game strategy, tactics and combinations, and end game technique. There are plenty of opportunities to play practice games, along with Tactics Contests, Chess Trivia, and non-rated Blitz and Quick Tournaments! Instructor: Marti Olsen

KARAOKE CLUB / PM
Mic check, one, two, three! You're invited to our Karaoke Club! Whether you are ready to join a group or wanting to work on a small collection of songs to win that next Karaoke battle, choose from a sweeping variety of music -- Rock Anthems, Broadway, Disney classics, and so much more! WET FELTING WORKSHOP / PM
This camp may offer some of the same projects as our morning camp, but mostly different ones since we'll be exploring the fun of wet felting! Create bowls and other forms you can take home & give as gifts, or enjoy these pieces at home for years to come.
