ADVANCED ROBOTICS TEAM
Students will engineer and code custom Lego Spike builds that are designed to solve specific problems. This course will allow students to use their own ingenuity to bring their ideas to life. Create your own code that specific to their robotics build using Lego Spike coding software. Watch your coding skill develop in this fun team for our upper grade students. Limited number of enrollment. Instructor: Jake Paszko

MATH COUNTS TEAM
Join the SLArts Math Counts group to discover the inherent beauty of math while preparing for the Math Counts competition in February! Perhaps we will even continue onto the State competition in March. We practice with timed problems, learning strategies, teamwork, and more. Instructor: Zane Colter + we welcome Parent Volunteers!
~ This class meets TWICE A WEEK on MONDAY + WEDNESDAY and is offered for free through our Math department*.

GUITAR JAM BAND
Adding Intermediate students who are excited to extend their skills & explore various genres .... We'll continue deeper into the fundamentals of playing guitar! Instruction includes developing your technique, greater fluency reading notes & tabs, and playing new and interesting chords. Many styles and genres are explored! YOU GOAT THIS ~ SKATE GOATS!
Get out your quads or blades! Learn to skate, brush up on skills, dance moves, crossover, backwards skating, speed skating, street hockey .... have fun & get fit! You must have your own skates, helmets, and pads. We'll be indoors and out, trying out different parks, ribbons, and even a local Roller Derby rink once the cooler weather rolls in. Please note: Helmets will be required.

HOMEWORK HALL
Need a chance to get your homework done before your busy afternoon and evening activities? Students focus on their work or silent reading in a quiet, supervised “study hall.” Sign up for one day or more, depending upon your needs. Homework Hall continues all year long, but registration occurs per term to allow for flexibility in students’ changing after-school schedules. Homework Hall is offered Monday through Thursday.

EXTENDED DAY
Downtime AFTER our enrolled after school classes, this unstructured, but supervised time is different than Homework Hall or our other activity-based classes. Socialize, play games, and just hang out until a parent or pick-up arrives. If your child does not head out by themselves for the bus, biking, walking, carpool or TRAX, this is a great option AFTER our other AFTER SCHOOL offerings.
