This advanced sewing class is perfect for students who are excited about making clothes to wear & love! Use patterns from others, or get practice making your own, and put together a favorite item to love for years. Materials will be provided. Expand your knowledge & practice with others, watch the afternoon fly by! CREATIVE MOVEMENT EXPLORATION with RIRIE-WOODBURY DANCE COMPANY

Do you love to dance? Have you noticed that whenever you hear certain music, you really want to move with it? Step it up with us! In this program, you will build on your dance foundation: refine your technique, create your own choreography, and develop essential performance skills. As your artistic awareness grows, so will your confidence and joy in movement. All levels are welcome -- just bring your enthusiasm and love for dance! GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL CLUB. ~ NEW CLUB this term! ~

Calling all football fans! Join us to improve your football skills and understand the game at a deeper level. We will start with some drills, then play a friendly scrimmage game each week. RADIO PLAY PRODUCTION

Discover the fun of foley arts! Never heard of it? Make the sound effects, incorporate music, and find the voice of your characters that move the story along, creating a vivid experience for the listener. Maybe we'll figure out how to sound out a raging storm, a fight scene, or a mysterious animal; Whether we are using pre-recorded sounds, handling objects that whir, crank, or ring out loud, we'll have a great time working out all the specifics. Our semester is packed with fun as we learn about the history of radio plays, write our own scripts, record them, and have a theatrical performance presented solely through audio. Then we'll have a special broadcase of our plays for anyone who wants to listen. Join us to create radio play magic together! Director: Ingrid Martinez

SLARTS DRAMA CLUB

Calling all theatre kids! Come join the official SLArts Drama Club! We will be planning drama field trips, creating a SLArts Drama logo, playing plenty of theatre games, reading/writing plays, and doing all things theatre! Instructor: Lauren Carn

HOMEWORK HALL

Need a chance to get your homework done before your busy afternoon and evening activities? Students focus on their school work or silent reading in a quiet, supervised “study hall.” Sign up for one day or more, depending upon your needs. Homework Hall continues all year long, but registration occurs per term to allow for flexibility in students’ changing after-school schedules. Homework Hall is offered Monday through Thursday.

EXTENDED DAY

Downtime AFTER our enrolled after school classes, this unstructured, but supervised time is different than Homework Hall or our other activity-based classes. Socialize, play games, and just hang out until a parent or pick-up arrives. If your child does not head out by themselves for the bus, biking, walking, carpool or TRAX, this is a great option AFTER our other After School offerings. In the winter, we will primarily be inside in room 201, across the hall from the Main Office.
