Let's keep the fun going for our last term in Flag Football! We'll focus on hands-on inquiry based activities like building bridges, using 'recipes' for chemical reactions, and more. We may come up with our own hypothesis to test and look for some answers. Every week will be a fun science adventure! We'll finish big with a trip to the planetarium at the end of the term! Instructor: Ingrid Martinez

We'll nominate favorite songs with each other, practice and collaborate, perform live, and have a great time. Auditions are not necessary to join, but if any student has a question about the group, please contact Eric McKenna-Spreng directly at his SLArts email address: [email protected] This semester-long group will be ending with a performance at SLArts Fest in May! Band members from the fall are highly encouraged to sign up again for the second half of the year! Instructor: Eric McKenna-Spreng

SKATING WITH SKEET
Spend your afternoon with wheels on your feet, groovin' with others who love the flow and fun of flying over the ground, growing our skills on skates! We will make sure we have time to practice good technique, so we can enjoy this joyful sport with confidence, whether we want to focus on developing our floor or street hockey game, or we want to be able to dance on wheels .... easily skating backwards, smoothly doing crossovers, moving to the funkiest music we can find .... or maybe we may feel the 'need for speed' with Inline skating or derbies, and more. There is so much to learn! Don't worry, we will have some rest time and support wherever you are on your skating journey. **We cannot provide roller skates or roller blades, so students must have their own equipment, including your helmet! Wrist guards can be helpful, but are not essential. Helmets are required. Instructor: Skeet Couper
