SLArts After School Term ONE

WHAT WE DO:  The Salt Lake Arts Academy offers a robust, enriching, and just plain FUN After School program with over 30 clubs & classes running each week! We have so much to choose from, the hardest part will be picking out which thing to do. We're thrilled you'll be joining us this year and excited to share what we've planned!

 

OUR ROUTINE:   At the end of the regular school day (3:00 pm M-TH, or 12:35 pm FRI), students head outside to the north field where they hop in line to CHECK-IN, choose a snack, and hang out in the courtyard until our teachers & instructors gather their groups to begin the after school class or club.

 

TIMING:  Groups typically run for one, 1.5, or two hours -- from 3:15 until 4:15 pm, 4:45 pm or 5:15 pm. Please make a note of the ending time of your child's enrolled class(es). If you need to pick-up later than the end of the class/club, we can keep kids at the school until 5:30 pm Monday to Thursday by enrolling in the Extended Day option until 5:30 pm. On Fridays, however, all of the classes end at 3:00 pm, there is no extension of the program after that time.

Your receipt for any registered after school class is sent in an email from CORE Payment Systems at the time of registration. This is your confirmation of enrollment.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

 
For safety, all after school students are expected to remain on school grounds from the end of the school day at 3:00 pm to the time when the after school class begins at 3:15 pm.
 
If a student leaves the premises during the transition time between school and the after school program, parents will be notified. (Yes, this even means the Maio Maio boba, or Normal Ice Cream.) We appreciate your understanding as we ensure the safety and supervision of all students.
 
While this is a fee-based program, we do offer financial assistance & scholarships for eligible families. PDF forms are on this page.
