BASKETBALL CLUB 
For players of all levels interested in low-key, yet fun basketball games, Katherine will lead players through a few warm-up exercises and a bit of practice before teams are lined up for a little tournament during a few weeks. Then we will switch up the teams and do it again! Sharpen your basketball skills and have fun with others who love the game.

SEW SIMPLE 
Sewing really can be simple, and lots of fun! Come learn how to make that special dress, pair of shorts, or book bag, and develop a skill you'll use for a lifetime. Learn how to embellish your clothes and transform them into something new!

MATH TUTORIAL 
Extra math assistance and instruction in small groups from faculty Dan Armstrong & others. Math Tutorial continues all year long, but registration occurs per term to allow for flexibility in students’ changing schedules and proficiency. Math Tutorial is offered on Monday AND/OR Wednesday.

HOMEWORK HALL  
Need a chance to get your homework done before your busy afternoon and evening activities? Students focus on their work or silent reading in a quiet, supervised “study hall.” Sign up for one day or more, depending upon your needs. Homework Hall continues all year long, but registration occurs per term to allow for flexibility in students’ changing after-school schedules. Homework Hall is offered Monday through Thursday.

EXTENDED DAY
Downtime AFTER our language, enrichment, or academic support classes. Different than Homework Hall, this is a time for socializing, games, and just hanging out until parent or pick-up arrives. If your child does not head out by themselves for the bus, biking, walking, carpool or TRAX, this is a great option AFTER our other AFTER SCHOOL offerings.

SINGING SOCIAL CLUB 
Like learning to play an instrument, singing involves good training and practice. Singing class will focus on healthy vocal techniques through vocal exercises and songs. Students will work on large and small group pieces, along with solos. There will be a vocal recital at the end of each term. This class is open to both boys and girls alike. In order to give individualized attention to each student, there is a 10 student limit for the class. If you love to sing, join us!

INTRO TO DEBATE / SALT LAKE ARTS ACADEMY DEBATE TEAM   
Come and join the SLArts Debate Team! This is a unique opportunity to join an up-and-coming program at the Salt Lake Arts Academy in its third year by The Salt Lake Urban Debate League. SLUDL is a youth lead organization with the goal of improving students abilities in research, argumentation skills, and public speaking to emphasize the importance of speech and debate. In addition, each student will have the opportunity to compete against other schools at tournaments and win awards! The coaches of the program hold multiple state championships and are nationally ranked in Debate.
