8th Grade Ambassadors
Our student service organization -- representing our school to the community, and working on projects that serve our students and school community.
Our 8th Grade Ambassadors function much like National Honor Society in high school. Students must apply to become am Ambassador in the spring of their 7th grade year, and receive permission from each of their teachers to apply.
Ambassador applications are voted on by the Faculty at the last faculty meeting of the school year, choosing Ambassadors for the following year.
Ambassador duties include running the student store, maintaining the SLArts Lending Library, doing the school recycling, and helping during special events.
During Admissions season Ambassadors help with tours for prospective students and families and help with Admissions open houses.
Interested students should ask their Humanities Teachers about applying to be an ambassador in ppring of their 7th grade year.
