Drop off and Pick up, what you need to know

We love our downtown school and while urban locations have lots of opportunities, there also are lots of challenges.

Here are a few things to consider about your transportation plans:

đźš— Drop Off & Pick Up: What you need to know

We know mornings and afternoons can be hectic, but following these guidelines keeps things safe and smooth for everyone:

Quick stops only in front of the school — drop off or pick up, then keep moving.

Please don’t wait to see your student walk in. Our teachers are always outside keeping an eye out for safety.

No parking in front of the school.

If your student isn’t outside yet at pick up, circle the block or choose a nearby spot (away from the front) to meet them.

Pro tip: Crossing Guards are at 900 S & 200 E. You can arrange to meet your student across the street for an easy pickup.

đźš« No Double Parking in Front of School

Double parking is dangerous — it blocks visibility and can lead to kids darting between cars. For everyone’s safety, please don’t do it. If there’s no room out front, simply circle the block and try again.

🚍 Getting to School on UTA or TRAX

Many of our students ride UTA buses or TRAX to school. Thanks for reminding your kids about public transit etiquette and safe street crossing — we’ll be reinforcing those same habits when we’re out and about with them, too.

🚲 Riding to School? Awesome!

If you bike to school, please wear a helmet and lock your bike inside our gates at the rack just west of the North Field.
