State Assessment Scores
State Assessment Scores
As a Charter School, SLArts is held accountable to the same standardized testing as other public schools. The most recently administered tests, SAGE and RISE, measure student “proficiency” and “growth” in three subject areas, English/Language Arts, Math and Science. The scores below represent the percent of students testing “proficient” in a given area for SLArts and, for comparison, the State of Utah. The color bands below follow “cohorts” of students, so that you can see their progress over the time they are at SLArts. Science scores for Grades 6-8 are not available at this time; Utah’s Data Gateway will publish those scores when they are available.

*New RISE test data is still being analyzed by the Utah State Office of Education. Data comparing SLArts to average Utah proficiency scores will be available in late October. More interpretation of these scores will be available then.
