CHOICE 1. Create Your Parent Observer Account with the Pairing Code You Received by Email from Your Student
On Sept. 8 or Sept. 9 you would have received an email from your student's SLArts email account with a student pairing code. Follow the directions below to enter that student pairing code when prompted. Note: you only have 7 days from the day you received the email from your student to activate your Canvas Observer account.
- Go to your SLArts’ school-specific Canvas URL in a web browser. (You can also access that link from slarts.org.)
- On the Canvas login page, click the "Click Here for an Account" link or "Parents sign up here".
- Fill out the required information: your name, your email, and a password.
- Enter the student pairing code you received from your child.
- Agree to the terms of use by checking the box.
- Click "Start Participating." You will now be able to view your student's courses and academic information.
