At Salt Lake Arts Academy, we encourage students to ENGAGE deeply with subjects that spark their interest and to PERSIST with focus and determination.

The arts are central to who we are. Through visual and digital art, music, drama, and dance, our students discover curiosity, confidence, and a strong sense of self.

This creative foundation is paired with high academic expectations, helping students grow as focused learners better equipped to excel at SLArts, in high school and beyond!

SLArts receives $500 less public funding, per student, compared to other public schools in Salt Lake City.

Help cover school fees for families receiving waivers

New This Year!
A Bold Vision for SLArts Outdoors

The SLArts Governing Board is committed to transforming our outdoor spaces into vibrant areas for learning, performance, and play.

The project includes up to four outdoor classrooms, an elevated stage, painted courts, a hammock garden, and upgraded landscaping with rotating, student-designed murals. Launched in fall 2025, this phased effort is powered by capital funds, local grants, and community support through our Annual Giving Campaign!
