Teton Science School

Each fall, Salt Lake Arts Academy 8th graders travel to Jackson, Wyoming, to spend a week at Teton Science School (TSS) for fieldwork in environmental science, geology, and ecology. This trip is an integral part of our science curriculum and strengthens the social bonds among all 8th graders.
Students board a chartered bus on Monday morning and return to school Friday afternoon. This is an “unplugged” experience for our 8th graders.
