We can't wait to see our students again! The first bell is at 8:15, and students may be dropped off beginning at 8 a.m. Students will meet their First Period Teachers OUTSIDE this year. Salt Lake Arts Academy will be following the State's Covid-safety guidance for K-12 Schools. Our goal is to offer in-person learning for all students, while keeping our community healthy - in particular, our youngest students who are not eligible for vaccination yet. The Governing Board will hold a special meeting to hear presentations from finalists for the Principal / CAO position on Friday, March 12. The meeting will open to the public for approval of past minutes, and public comments. It is anticipated that the candidate presentations will happen in a Closed Session. Our principal Heather Shepherd has resigned. The Govenring Board thanks her for her leadership, and wishes her (and Truman!) the very best in all their future endeavors.
