Supporting SLArts

Help us build creative minds!

As a public charter school, Salt Lake Arts Academy charges no tuition.  Our school is largely funded through the same mechanisms as a regular public school; however, because Salt Lake Arts Academy is chartered through the State of Utah and not through the Salt Lake City School District, we do not receive the local property tax revenue like other schools in the District. The State provides its Charter Schools with a “local replacement funding” disbursement, but it is much lower than the local disbursement Salt Lake City School District schools receive.

In order to offer the enriched, exciting program our students enjoy, we must raise a significant portion of our operating budget through private sources each year.

We do this by turning to our generous parent community, the business community and the philanthropic community in the Salt Lake area. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts to Salt Lake Arts Academy are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

There are many ways parents, grandparents, friends and community partners can support Salt Lake Arts Academy; if you would like to know more, please email [email protected].
